COURSE INSIGHT

SAP BusinessObjects BI (SAP BO) is a centralised set of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and analysis tools. SAP BO is for corporate users. It consists of several reports so that users can find information, analyse it and produce reports visualising insight. SAP BO is designed for business users to make reporting and analysis simple to create reports and processes like predictive analysis without data analyst input. SAP BO uses a collection of BI instruments to achieve this. The SAP BusinessObjects Universe, which consists of layers of metadata that connect the back-end data to the front-end application layer, is at the heart of SAP BO.

Drag-and-drop functions are used by SAP BusinessObjects BI and allow users to search and analyse data from a wide range of sources. Because SAP BO is a front-end BI platform, data is integrated from various back-end sources rather than being stored at the application level. SAP BO consists of several application reports and analyses that all have their own identity, purpose and function.
